Strefa.co.uk and Dyskretne.co.uk now also available in English
From now on Strefa.co.uk and Dyskretne.co.uk advertising services are also available in English. The additional language versions are intended to help English-speaking users navigate the sites and place ads.
Strefa.co.uk and Dyskretne.co.uk portals have been, until recently, dedicated mainly to Poles living in the UK and therefore run in Polish. Strefa.co.uk was launched in 2003 along with the Polish Express newspaper and PolishExpress.co.uk internet portal. The website was established as a local advertising service in London, and over the years it has covered not only the rest of England, but also Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
In September, Strefa.co.uk was enriched with a new category of ads: “Discreet”. This category, which itself is a separate advertising service under the name of Dyskretne.co.uk, collects personal and erotic ads dedicated for adults.
“We want our users to get the most out of our services, and hence to reach the widest possible audience with their announcements. After we had refreshed the website, we were constantly asked about the version for non-Polish speakers – and so it is! Thanks to the English version we are now not only increasing the number of ads, but we are also creating a space bringing Poles closer to other UK inhabitants. This trend is a part of the mission”– says Rafał Fraś, New Media Specialist at Zetha Media.
